From the 1st March 2021 any households, childcare and support bubbles of primary age pupils can access rapid lateral flow tests.

The document below sets out the procedures required and how to access tests. Please note that school do not have access to LFT tests for this purpose.

If a positive test result is obtained then you should inform school immediately and members of your household/support bubble should self-isolate until a PCR test confirms the result.

Apply for a Test and Trace Support Payment

You might be able to get a payment of £500 if you’re on a low income and meet all these conditions:

  • you’re employed or self-employed
  • you, or a child you’re the parent or guardian of, have been told to self-isolate due to coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • you cannot work from home and will lose income by self-isolating or staying at home to care for the child
