At Carrwood Primary we deliver a typical school week of 32.5 hours, including lunch times and other break times.
Start of School
School starts at 8:45am. Your child needs to be in class and ready for registration by this time. We expect your child to be punctual, however, if your child is any later than 8.55am then you must take them to the main school office to get their mark.
End of School
School finishes at 3:15pm. The school gates will be opened at 3:05pm to allow parents access to the site. Parents should collect their child from their classroom doors. Parents are asked not to crowd entrance doors to avoid congestion and confusion.
Assemblies
Assemblies take place on a daily basis, either as a class, Key Stage or whole school.
Friday assemblies are Whole School Achievement assemblies, where we encourage parents to join us to celebrate the achievements of your children during the week. Achievement assembly starts at 9:00am prompt. Please be ready by 8:55am at the Upper KS2 entrance (Entrance to the two-storey building).
